Mumbai: University of Mumbai, also known as Mumbai University, Mumbai, Maharashtra, has made application forms for sale, for admission into various courses in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. As per the notification issued by the University, the applications have been made available from May 23, 2012.
In addition, the notification mentioned that the last date of sale of application form is May 29, 2012. However, the submission process of admission forms will commence from June 1, 2012 to June 4, 2012. The admission schedule has been finalized keeping in view the date of declaration of the result for the HSC Examination (12th Std.) 2012 i.e. on Wednesday, the 25th May, 2012.
According to the notification, applications have been invited for admissions into FY BA, FY B Sc, FY B Com including FY BMM, FY BSW, FY BA (Library & Information Science), FY BMS, FY B Com (Financial Market), FY B Com (Accounting & Finance), FY B Com (Banking & Insurance), FY B Sc (Information Technology), FY B Sc (Computer Science), FY B Sc ( Hospitality Studies), FY B Sc (Microbiology), FY B Sc (Bio-Chemistry), FY B Sc (Bio-Technology), FY B Sc (Maritime), FY B Sc (Nautical Science), FY B Sc (Home Science), FY B Sc (Aviation) and Law (5 years) courses, to be offered in various university affiliated colleges in Arts, Commerce and Law (5 years).
