University of Calcutta, located at Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) (Tech) programme of the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, to be offered in the upcoming session 2013.Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination, followed by personal interview, to be conducted by the University department.
Note: Candidates having M Tech / M Phil degrees or who have passed NET / GATE / SLET / SET / equivalent examinations need not appear at the written examination and are entitled directly to appear at the interview.
Date of Exam
The written test will be held on April 18, 2013 (at 12.00 noon), whereas, the interview will be held on May 7-8, 2013.

Application fee is Rs 100 which is to be paid at the cash counter of the University of Calcutta using Challan. The duly filled in and completed application in the prescribed format, along with the photocopy of Challan, should be submitted to the office of the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, 92, A.P.C. Road, Kolkata 700009, latest by March 31, 2013.
