New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the supreme board of education of India, has declared the date sheet for board examinations for the year 2013. The examinations for both the standards i.e. 10th and 12th for session 2013 will commence from March 1, 2013. The Board issued the date sheet on its official website, recently.
As per the date sheet issued by the Board, examination for 12th standard will begin with English core, elective and functional (the subject is common for each stream) and the examinations (for all streams) will conclude on April 17, 2012. However, examination for class 10th boards will commence with painting and end on March 15 with home science. For detailed date sheet for board examinations, one can visit the following direct links:

According to sources, a majority of Class 10th students will appear for the school-based exams based on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system, whereas over 8 lakh students are likely to appear for the senior secondary exams. However, the examination results are expected to be declared earlier than the last year.
