Dr Harisingh Gour University (DHSGSU), Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for M Phil / PhD Entrance Test 2013. The entrance test(s) are being conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into M Phil (Master of Philosophy) / PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2013. However, final selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the interview, to be conducted by the University department.

- M Phil will be offered in- English, Hindi, Sociology
- PhD programme will be offered at various departments of different schools

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by logging into the University’s official website: http://www.dhsgsu.ac.in/. After successfully submitting the online application (by following the given instructions), one must take printout of the same. The entrance test fee is Rs 900 (for General candidates), Rs 450 (for OBC-NCL category) and Rs 225 (for SC / ST / PH / VH), which is to be deposited by Challan (can be downloaded from the University’s website) in Power Jyoti Account No. 32000156472 (subhead-F) in any branch of SBI throughout India.
However, one can obtain the information brochure from State Bank of India, Saugor University Branch against a cash payment of Rs 50. The duly acknowledged hardcopy (two copies) of the online application along with the requisite documents and SBI Challan copy should be sent to The Chairman, Admission Cell, Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar (MP)-470003, latest by April 15, 2013. The application form should be sent by Registered Post / Speed Post only.
