The N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) funded by N S Raghavan, co-founder of Infosys, at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) will be organizing national business plan competition for its young entrepreneurs. The competition is scheduled to be held between May 20 and May 22, 2013.
As per sources, the competition will be sponsored and supported by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) under the sponsorship of Department of Science and Technology and Intel India. Three innovative teams will be selected through this competition.
Moreover, the top two teams selected through the competition will get an opportunity to participate in the Intel Global Challenge, which will be held at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Besides, the entire cost of participating in the global challenge will be borne by Intel and Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
According to a statement issued NSRCEL has selected 32 teams for participating in the pre-final which will be further narrowed down to 10 teams for the final round. The top three teams will be identified at the end of the finals and will be announced in June 2013.
In a statement issued, NSRCEL has said that, NBI is a national level business plan competitions which provide students with a platform to blossom into entrepreneurs. The top two entries of the competition get to participate in the Intel Global Challenge to be held at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
