Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has invited online applications from well qualified candidates for admission into the below mentioned postgraduate and doctorate programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2013. The admission committee of IIT Guwahati will short-list candidates after scrutinizing their applications and call them for entrance test. Final selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in entrance test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online by filling and submitting the application form on the official website of IIT Guwahati: http://www.iitg.ernet.in/. The direct link for the same is: http://www.iitg.ernet.in/acad/AdvtNotificationJuly2013/AdvtNotificationJuly2013.htm. After filling up all the details, candidates have to submit the application form online and take a print out of the same for further correspondence with the institute. For more information regarding admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates can visit the aforementioned official website of IIT Guwahati.
Note:
- Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of the online submitted application form to IIT Guwahati, in the initial stage of application.
- If they are short-listed for the entrance examination, only then they will have to send the hard copy of the online submitted application form along with the application fee of Rs 150 (Rs 75 for SC / ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, payable at Guwahati.
