King George's Medical University (KGMU), Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admissions into Post MD-PhD super-speciality programme, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2013. The programme has been initiated to promote State of the Art interdisciplinary research sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Admission to the course will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written examination (Post MD-PhD Entrance Examination), followed by interview, to be conducted by the University department.

The written examination for all MD-PhD course shall be held on April 12-13, 2013 (from 11:00 am onwards)

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application forms, from Research Cell, KGMU, Lucknow. However, applications can also be downloaded from the University’s official website: http://www.kgmu.org/. The direct link to download the same is: www.kgmu.org/download/course_admission/mdphd2013/application_form.doc. The processing fee (non-refundable) is Rs 1500, which can be paid in the form of a DD, drawn in the name of “KGMU- PhD Program A/c” payable in Lucknow. The duly filled in and completed application form along with the DD and other requisite documents (detailed list given in the website), should be submitted in person or through post to the Faculty In-charge, Research Cell, Administrative Block, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow-226003, Uttar Pradesh, latest by March 12, 2013 (up to 5.00 pm).
