Hyderabad: The 79th convocation ceremony of Osmania University, Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to be held on February 7, 2013 at Tagore Auditorium. As per the notification issued by the University, the convocation is being organized for conferment of Degrees and Diplomas to the successful candidates in the examinations conducted during July 2009 to June 2012.
Also, the list of candidates provisionally declared eligible for the award of the gold medals in the under graduate and post graduate examinations and of PhD candidates have been displayed in the examination branch and University’s official website: http://www.osmania.ac.in/. The gold Medalists and PhD candidates are required to contact the office of the Controller of Examinations, Osmania University, for receiving the passes for the convocation. As without passes, they shall not be allowed to attend the convocation ceremony.
Furthermore, it should also be noted that the candidates have to attend the convocation in white dress only.
