AMU to conduct Online Admissions

Aligarh: Professor P.K. Abdul Azis, Vice Chancellor (VC) of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has recently launched a new website for online submission of application form for admission to the university. Further, the website provides the facility to download the admission form for various courses. The newly introduced online admission procedure will prove beneficial for both the students as well the university.
 
Professor Azis has appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Controller of Exams, Professor Pervez Mustajab and his team involved in developing the website. Professor Azis has instructed that while browsing the online application submission process, to make the filling up of mobile number box optional as the mobile phone is still out of reach of a large number of poor students living in villages, towns and cities. Moreover, the VC has also directed to give clear and detailed instructions to tear off the application portion containing address required to be pasted on the cover for sending the hard copy after downloading along with necessary documents.
 
Aligarh Muslim University, popularly known as AMU, one of the leading universities in India, is an academic institution of global repute. The university holds the acknowledgment of producing several prominent Muslim leaders, and Urdu scholars of the subcontinent. It was granted the status of Central University in 1920 by an Act of Indian Parliament. Presently, the university offers more than 250 courses in traditional and modern branch of education.
