DU Publishes First Cut-Off List for Non-Collegiate Women Courses

Delhi University (DU) has published the first cut-off list for admission into the non-collegiate women courses, offered in the ensuing session 2011. The list is announced for the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), under which students need not attend regular classes.

The University has published the first cut-off lists for its BA and B.Com courses. The NCWEB is dedicated to the task of offering special coaching to women students and prepares them to appear in university examinations without attending regular classes.

As per sources, every year, the NCWEB witnesses an enrollment of above 16,000 students in undergraduate courses and 500 in postgraduate courses. Besides, the third cut off list for the regular students is scheduled to be announced on June 27, 2011. However, few colleges are expected to announce a third list for admissions, with a majority of them already admitted students more than their capacity.
