St Stephen’s College has published the list of candidates eligible to appear for the interview round of its selection procedure for admissions to undergraduate (UG) courses for the year 2011.
List of the candidates eligible for interview is available in the official website of the college: http://www.ststephens.edu/. Candidates are required to key in their registration number to found out if they have been selected for the interview or not. As per the admission guidelines issued, 85 % weightage will be given to Class XII marks, 15 % will be allotted for the interview round.
During the interview round candidates will mainly be accessed for their academic, co-curricular potential and general awareness and sense of values. Like other DU colleges St Stephen’s college had also announced its cut-off list on Wednesday, however, a hike of 0.5 to 0.25 percent was observed in most courses.
Interviews for Economics (Honours) will be conducted from June 20-22, for Physics Honours June 20-23, and June 23, 24, 25 and 27 for Mathematics Honours. However, English Honours interviews will be conducted on June 23 and 24; interviews for Chemistry (Honours) will be held on June 24, 25 and 27; and for Sanskrit (Honours) on June 20.
Sports admission interviews are scheduled to held on June 28. Interviews for History (Honours) will take place on June 29, 30 and July 1. B.Sc. Programme (with Computer Science) interviews will be held on June 29 and 30, while interviews for B. Sc. Programme (with Chemistry) will be held on July 1 and 2. Philosophy (Honours) interviews will be held on July 2 and B.A. Programme interviews on July 2 and 4.
