The admission session started in all the 21 Delhi University (DU) colleges, which will enroll students based on CATE scores, after the declaration of second cut-off list.

Enrollment Commences in CATE Colleges

New Delhi: The enrollment session has commenced in the all 21 Delhi University (DU) affiliated colleges, which will enroll students on the basis of Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE) scores, after the declaration of second cut-off list by the University. In DU's north campus, Hindu College decreased the cut-off marks by 0.55% while Miranda House by 4.8% and Kirori Mal College lowered the cut-off marks by 2.5%. Also, Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) has decreased its cut-off by 2.58 % and Kamla Nehru College (KNC) by 5.32%.
 
In case of general candidates the cut-off marks has been lowered as much as 10 %, while for OBC candidates the dip is as high as 12%. The maximum decrease in cut-off marks for General candidates is 10% at Satyawati College (evening). IP College has lowered its cut-off marks by 8%. Also, Maharaja Agrasen College has decreased its cutoff by 7%. However, the only college which has kept admissions open without lowering the cut-off marks is Bharati College.
 
Furthermore, the major slash in cut-off marks for OBC candidates is 12% at Zakir Hussain (evening). In total, eight colleges have maintained a full relaxation of 10% for OBC aspirants.
