DU UG Course Admission Commences from June 15

New Delhi: On June 15, 2011,Delhi University (DU) will release its first cut-offlist of different colleges for their undergraduate (UG) admissions 2011. During a meeting held on Thursday i.e. on May 5, 2011, the DU admission advisory committee of has approved the same.
 
Students aspiring to get enrolled into the University’s UG courses will now get four days to take admission after the announcement of the cut -off list, which used to be three days earlier. This decision was taken considering the fact that no deserving candidates should miss out on the admissions. In addition, students will now get plenty of time to decide which college to go for.
 
As per sources, last year, the first cut-off list was announced on June 22. Now that colleges have an extra week, they will now get more time to declare subsequent cut-off lists. In addition, DU has drastically declared new admission policy on April 12, under which pre-admission forms were dispensed with. Earlier, the university would begin the sale of forms on June 1, 2011.
