Jamia to Organize National Seminar on Sept 5

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University, Centre for Management Studies, will organize a National Seminar on “Future of Financial Markets” on September 5, 2011. The venue will be the Seminar Hall of the Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia.
 
As per a press release issued by the University, this seminar is an attempt to raise main issues concerning financial markets in particular and financial systems in general. It is expected that researchers and deliberations will emphasize the various perspectives of the Future of ‘Financial Markets’.
 
In addition, the seminar deals with the current modification in the structural form of the financial markets globally, which has led thinkers to develop newer financial products and systems. Whereas, fast-growing economies plays an important role in the development of the financial market infrastructure and new age policy frameworks, transformation of economies is as more and more driven by emerging economies today. Besides, the major concerns that the seminar will focus includes price transparency, efficient trade, hedging and effective risk management, access to structured finance and financial inclusions.
