DTU to Organize First Convocation

New Delhi: The first convocation ceremony of Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) is scheduled to be held on January 11, 2013 at 11.00 am, in Dr. B R Ambedkar Auditorium of the University. During the ceremony, degrees will be conferred to the candidates of M Tech & MBA who have passed out in the year 2011 and 2012, respectively. In addition, the medals and prizes will also be given to overall toppers and Branch topper of Post Graduate courses.
 
As per the notification issued by the University, the Hon'ble Lt. Governor / Chancellor of DTU will grace the event as Chief Guest. Moreover, the students of BE & ME courses of Delhi University, who passed out in the year 2009, 2010 & 2011 and have not yet received the degrees, shall also be handed over degrees in the Convocation along with the medals and prizes of those years.
 
All degree recipients of the said courses whose results are declared up to November 30, 2012 are required to register themselves online at the University website: http://dce.edu/. Candidates who wish to attend the ceremony must take part in the rehearsal for the convocation scheduled at 2.30 pm on January 10, 2013 in Dr. B R Ambedkar Auditorium. It is notified that candidates who do not attend the rehearsal will not be allowed to attend the convocation.
