New Delhi: This year a record number of around 6,200 students appeared for interviews during the week-long recruitment endeavor, organized by the Central Placement Cell (CPC), of the University of Delhi. The week-long recruitment drive of University of Delhi commenced from January 25, 2010 and ended on February 3, 2010.
As per sources, the second session of the recruitment drive witnessed a total of 371 students getting selected for jobs in various companies. Further, 96 students were short listed for jobs. All major sectors, including NGOs, offered diverse profiles. Apart from that, some physically-challenged students also participated in the drive. The highest package offered was Rs 5.85 per annum from Aakash Education Services.
