New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) will launch its helplines for admissions related queries at the undergraduate level on Monday i.e. May 3, 2010. The helplines are being launched just before the commencement of its academic session in June 2010.
According to the University officials, helplines will be functional from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Students can call and get their queries answered by either the faculty or trained senior students of the university. Also, the helplines will be separate for the north and south campuses. The helpline numbers for north campus are 011-27662507 and 27662508 and for the south are 011-24119832 and 24114634.
In addition, DU will also conduct nine Open Days sessions, beginning May 15. These interactive sessions would be conducted between aspiring students and their parents with teachers and students of the university. The Open Days will help aspirants to get an idea of the courses offered in different colleges, the expected cut off percentages for different courses and colleges, entrance tests and other issues.
