Ahmadabad: Indian Institute of Management - Ahmadabad (IIM-A) invites applications for admission into the 32nd Faculty Development Programme (FDP), which is to be offered in the session 2010. The duration of the programme extends from June 7, 2010 to September 25, 2010. Last date for receiving completed application forms is April 22, 2010.
Faculty Development Programme (FDP) of IIM-A is especially designed for teachers, researchers and trainers in HRD, training colleges and industrial organizations. Participants should have post-graduate level teaching experience or industrial/research experience, for at least two years. Preference will be given to participants aged less than 45 years.
Since the FDP is offered in English, participants must have a good command over the language, which will enable them to communicate well in it. Considerations for selecting participants include teaching and/or research experience, level of preparedness for the programme as indicated by educational qualifications and statements of purpose and anticipated benefits to sponsor.
Furthermore, decisions regarding admission to the programme will be communicated to applicants and sponsoring institutions by May 7, 2010. Selected foreign applicants are advised to complete all visa formalities on their own, well in time. Requests for extension of time to join the programme will not be entertained.
