New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia University started the trial of aspirants, who have applied for admissions in several programmes under the sports category, here on Monday i.e. July 5, 2010.
The trial was started with boxing, but for cricket, it was postponed to July 12 due to heavy rains.
Simi Malhotra, university spokesperson, said that the University will conduct trial for athletics today, that is, July 6, 2010. For volleyball, shooting and football, the trials will be conducted tomorrow i.e. July 7, while for basketball, table tennis and hockey, it will be on July 8. The trials for badminton, tennis and swimming will begin from July 9. The trials for remaining games will start from July 10. The final list of successful candidates will be declared on July 21, 2010.
