New Delhi: On Monday i.e. on June 21, 2010, the Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) has announced admission helpline numbers that will connect students to the department concerned. The University has introduced these helpline numbers in order to avoid any inconvenience to the candidates seeking admission to their desired courses.
The contact numbers are available in the University's website. Students will now be able to directly contact the heads of department and other officials. According to the statement of a University Official, this helpline will help students connect to the department they are applying for regarding various queries during the admission procedure.
In addition, the Official mentioned thatthere are quite a few professional and non-professional courses on graduate and postgraduate levels in which unprecedented number of application forms have been received by the university. Moreover, the helpline will facilitate the process of admission.
