New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) students bring laurels to the university at the shooting championship. Recently, two students of Jamia have won the Gold and Bronze Medals in All India Inter University Air Riffle & Air Pistol Shooting Championships, held at Jiwaji University.
Mr. Sarpreet Singh, student of B.B.S. (Hons.) 1st Year, won the Gold Medal in the Air Rifle Shooting Championship, while Mr. Amandeep of B.B.S. (Hons.) 1st Year, won the Bronze Medal in the same category.
As per sources, the Jamia students had been given training at the Faridabad Range for the last few months and their efforts have borne fruit. In a press release, the university congratulates both the students on their achievement and wishes them the very best for all their future endeavours.
