Jamia to Host the North Zone Inter University Hockey Tournament (Men) From Dec 28

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University is all set to host the North Zone Inter University Hockey Tournament (Men) 2010-11 from December 28, 2010 to January 4, 2011. According to a press release, a total of 27 Universities from North Zone will participate in the tournament.

All the participating 27 University teams have been divided into four pools viz. A, B, C & D. In total 29 matches will be played. Out of these, 23 will be played at the knock-out stage and 6 will be played at the league level to finally decide the champion.

The inaugural match will be played on December 28, 2010 at 12.00 pm in the ground of Faculty of Education. The final match will be played on January 4, 2011 at Jamia Sports Complex ground.
