New Delhi: On Tuesday i.e. August 10, 2010, the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University will organize a day-long conference on 'Remote Sensing and GIS for Environmental Management' at the University’s Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology.
The conference will be organized by the University’s Department of Civil Engineering. It will be beneficial for engineers, planners, architects, scientists, decision makers and researchers working in this field. According to the statement of an official the conference will cover new horizon in the areas of spatial technology for hydrology, water and air pollution, land degradation, land use planning and natural hazards.
Furthermore, the conference will be attended by a large number of intellectuals, experts from various institutions/organizations including IITs, Central/State Universities among others.
