University of Calcutta, popularly known as Calcutta University, Department of Applied Optics & Photonics, has invited applications for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admissions will be made on the basis of an admission test scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below followed by an interview. UGC /CSIR (JRF) Examinations/ NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship qualified candidates or candidates who have passed M Phil/M Tech/MD/ME/M Pharm or equivalent examination are exempted form the admission test.
