Department of Geography, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Geography against 18 vacant seats, to be offered in the upcoming Spring 2012 session. Admissions will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Research Eligibility Test (RET), scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below, followed by an interview, to be conducted by the University.
Note: Candidates, who have qualified NET / SET / SLET / M Phil, need not appear in RET. However, they have to attend the interview session.
