New Delhi: The Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE) course admission counseling at Delhi University (DU) is scheduled to be held on July 4, 2011. The University has announced the entrance test result on Sunday i.e. on June 26, 2011. As per sources, a total of 2,800 candidates have been short-listed for the counseling.
More than 15,500 students appeared for the entrance test. It was also conducted for courses like Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Financial Investment and Analysis (BFIA). However, the results for BBS and BFIA course were declared in advance, as the admission procedure also involves interview and group discussions.
In case of BBE course, admissions will be based on candidates’ Class XII marks and the entrance test score. The ranking of the short-listed candidates is based on equal weightage to both. The first counseling will commence from July 4, 2011 at the arts faculty, South Campus, DU. This year, total of 11000 students took the test for the business economics programme, which is offered by 10 colleges and has 550 seats.
