New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is going to declare the results of Term End Examination (TEE) on February 14, 2011. The exams were held in December 2010. Candidates who have appeared for the aforesaid examinations can check the result by visiting the university's official website: http://www.ignou.ac.in/, once declared.
As per sources, the step has been taken due to a regulation that has been passed for TEE results. According to that regulation, the results of TEE are to be declared within 45 days of the completion of the examination. In addition, sources informed that the university has made it compulsory to submit the assignments for issue of hall tickets.
Professor Pushplata Tripathi, Registrar, Student Evaluation Division (SED), IGNOU said that all the IGNOU students are required to ensure their validity of registration and submission of assignments for the courses for which they intend to appear in the TEE. They are also required to get their exam forms authenticated from their study centres/ programme study centres/special study centres/ recognized study centres/ partner institutions/community colleges/ convergences centres/ programme coordinators, etc to this effect and submit the same at their respective regional centers.
