Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) officials are conducting an online counseling for students who have passed the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2011. The counselling is being done through online portal - JCOP: http://www.jee.iitk.ac.in/JCOP/.
The counseling is being conducted in order to help students opt for their choice of engineering stream in various IIT centres across the nation. The course allocation for a candidate is done strictly on the basis of the all-India rank as well as the courses he/she selects in order of preference, during counselling.
As per sources, this year, IIT-Kanpur is conducting the JEE Counselling on behalf of all the other IITs. Students are required to login and follow a registration procedure to get the benefits of counselling. To get registered, one must enter their Name, Registration Number, Application Number, Date Of Birth, Email ID, Phone Number, Password, Confirm Password in the box provided and click on the Register button in the given link: http://www.jee.iitk.ac.in/JCOP/index.php?page=register
