Kanpur: The reunion programme of the ex- IITians of the 1976 batch of the Indian Institute of Technology - Kanpur (IIT-K) wrapped up on Monday i.e. on March 14, 2011. It was a three-day festival ended amidst emotions, laughter, jubilation and nostalgia.
As per sources, the ex-IITians enjoyed themselves throughout their stay on the campus of the IIT-K, during the past three days. On the third and the last day of the reunion meet, these well-placed IITians went to the laboratories and the classrooms where they had studied. They also met their old friends who had settled at the IIT-K campus.
Moreover, during the lunch hours commenced, the alumni gathered at the student's mess in Hall-I where mouth-watering delicacies were served. Also, they recalled the time spent at the mess. Immediately after lunch, they were given memento and bid adieu with a promise of meeting again.
