Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Physiology, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the admission test, followed by personal interview, to be conducted by the University.

Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The application/admission test fee is Rs 100, which should be paid in the form of challan and should be deposited in the cash counter of University of Calcutta at 87/1, College Street, Kolkata - 73. The duly filled in and completed application form along with requisite documents and challan, should be submitted in the office of Head Department of Physiology, CU, latest by February 29, 2012.
