Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications for admission into Master of Library & Information Sciences (MLIS) course, to be offered in the ensuing session commencing from January 2013. Candidates having a Bachelor of Library & Information Sciences (BLIS) degree are eligible to apply for this programme. Admission to 60% seats will be made through counseling, however, for rest of the 40% seats, admission will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the admission test, to be conducted by the University department.
