New Delhi: Jamia MiIlia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, is all set to offer new courses in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the ensuing session, commencing from July 2012. As per the press release issued by the University, Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the University will conduct two new programmes, namely, M Tech in Nanotechnology and PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
The courses have been started with the aim of promoting basic and applied research in the fields of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology so as to meet the nation’s needs. In addition, the main focus for the Centre will be to equip students with the knowledge of Nano-fabrication & Nano-device, Nano-materials & Nano-structures, Nano-biotechnology & Nano-medicine, Nano-structure characterization & measurements.
JMI has issued the application forms for admission into the above mentioned new courses. Interested aspirants can apply for the same by visiting the official website of the University: http://www.jmi.ac.in/. The last date for submission of the forms at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology is May 7, 2012.
The inclusion of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology has added another feather in the cap of the distinguished programmes conducted by the University.
