Hazratbal: University of Kashmir, also known as Kashmir University, Srinagar, has extended the last date of form submission for PG (Post Graduate) Diploma in Disaster Management programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012.
As per the notification issued by the University, the last date for submission of online application forms including hard copy for admission to PG Diploma in Disaster Management for the session 2012 has been extended up to August 25, 2012. Earlier, the last date for the same was August 14, 2012.
Interested candidates may apply online by registering themselves on the official website of the University: http://www.kashmiruniversity.net/. One has to visit the abovementioned website and click onto the “Admission 2012” link. After clicking on the link, an online registration form will appear, which should be filled by the candidates (if not registered with the University).
Particulars of those students who have already registered with the University will appear automatically. After completion of the registration, one will get a Pay-in-Slip which should be used at the time of payment of the entrance test fee. Candidates have to pay an entrance test fee of Rs 345 (additional Rs 10 as bank charges) through Pay-in-Slip at any J&K Bank Ltd branch, across the country.
After paying the entrance test fee, one should take a printout of the duly submitted online registration form and send the same along with the original copy of Pay-in-Slip and other requisite documents (list given on the website) to the Department of Geography & Regional Development, University of Kashmir, Hazratbal, Srinagar, on or before August 25, 2012.
