University of Kashmir, popularly known as Kashmir University, Hazratbal, Srinagar, has announced the selection lists for various PG (post graduate) courses, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. The lists are made available on the University’s official website: http://www.kashmiruniversity.net/. Admissions are being offered in the following faculties of the University:
- Faculty of Arts
- Faculty of Social Science
- Faculty of Biological Sciences
- Faculty of Physical & Material Sciences
- Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology

Candidates listed in the lists have provisionally been selected for admission into PG courses, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2012-13. The selection of the candidates is purely on merit and subject to the verification of original certificates / documents by Heads of the Departments concerned.
However, admission shall also be subject to verification of candidates’ academic merit by reference to the original marks sheets and result gazette. Candidates, who have obtained qualifying degrees from Universities / Institutions other than the University of Kashmir, shall obtain clearance from the academic section before the grant of their admission to the programme.
University of Kashmir, came into existence in the year 1965 after the separation of the University of Jammu & Kashmir into two individual universities. It is located in the beautiful environs of Hazratbal, Jammu & Kashmir.
