New Delhi: Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Prometric India, the online test conducting body, will declare the results of Common Admission Test 2012, popularly known as CAT, tomorrow i.e. January 9, 2013. CAT 2012 was conducted in 61 test centres across 36 cities over a 21-day testing window from October 11, 2012 to November 6, 2012.
As per sources, candidates who appeared for the test will be able to view the results by logging on to IIM-CAT official website: http://www.catiim.in/ from January 9. In order to access the results, they will have to enter their CAT registration number and email address. Candidates are also advised to retain a printed copy of their results, however, the access to CAT 2012 results will available till December 31.
Declaring about the same, Professor SSS Kumar, CAT 2012 Convenor, informed that although our team took added precautions, we anticipate a slightly heavier traffic on the first day and candidates are advised to be patient and not rush to know their results. They may try later if they find the site to be slow, Kumar added.
Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), considered to be the most prestigious B-schools of India. It is a qualifying entrance exam for students who want to pursue Post Graduate level Management Degree from world renowned IIM’s. CAT 2012 was conducted by IIM Kozhikode.
