The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, Term End Examination for June, 2013 is scheduled to commence from June 1, 2013 and will conclude on June 28, 2013.
According to a release issued by IGNOU, the University has established 781 examination centers including 41 overseas centers and 56 centers in Jail for jail inmates. The University has issued Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips) to 4,45,326 eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination. The hall ticket is also available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in. Students can download the Hall Tickets from the University website and can appear in the examination.
Also, all the Examination Centres have been instructed by IGNOU to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips), but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre. Besides, students are recommended to be in possession of the valid Identity Card issued by the University during the Examination. The mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall.
Furthermore, students of BCA & MCA for Term End practical examination will be issued separate Hall tickets. Students are advised to contact the respective Regional Centres in the last week of June for their practical examinations. However, for BLISc. (Library Science) all Theory Examination Centres are not activated for conduct of Practical Examination. Therefore, students are advised to contact the Centre Superintendent and see the Notice Board for Practical Examination Centre.
