DUTA Continues to Protest Against Semester System

New Delhi: Delhi University Teachers' Association (DUTA) was on a strike today i.e. Friday March 5, 2010. DUTA continues its agitation against the implementation of semester system in the undergraduate courses in the university from the upcoming academic session 2010. 

According to the statement of DUTA official, if the authorities didn't budge from their decision then they would intensify their activities. He also added that its implementation is being done in an undemocratic way. 

Further, according to a statement issued by DUTA, if the semester system is not withdrawn, then the teachers will resort to a three-day hunger strike. Moreover, they may even not submit the internal assessment marks.
