Calcutta University PhD Programme in Sanskrit Admission 2012

Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Sanskrit, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Selection is to be made on the basis of an entrance test, followed by an interview, to be conducted by the University.
 
Note: Candidates who have qualified JRF/NET/SET examination, are exempted from the test, however, they shall have to appear for the personal interview.

January 10, 2012 (The interview is scheduled to be held on February 7, 2012)

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply by sending the applications in the prescribed form by paying Rs 100 through a challan. Candidates can obtain the challan from the College (university) Street Campus (Cash Counter). The duly filled in application form along with requisite documents should be submitted to the department of Sanskrit 87/1, College Street Campus, 2nd floor of Hardinge Building, Kolkata–700073, latest by December 23, 2011.
