Department of Geography, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Geography against 51 vacant seats, to be offered in the upcoming session 2013. Admissions will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Research Eligibility Test (RET), followed by an interview, to be conducted by the University department.
Note: Candidates, who have qualified NET / SET / SLET / M Phil, need not appear in RET. However, they have to attend the interview session.
