IGNOU to Celebrate 26th Convocation

New Delhi: The 26th convocation ceremony of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is scheduled to be held on April 12, 2013. As per the notification issued by the University, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India, shall be present and deliver the convocation address. This ceremony will be held at IGNOU headquarters at Maidan Garhi, and simultaneously at University’s selected Regional Centres (RC), through teleconferencing mode. Candidates, who have successfully completed their programmes in June-2012 Term End Examination (TEE), will be awarded degree certificates during the ceremony.
 
Therefore, all eligible students who wish to attend the convocation, are advised to submit their registration forms along with the DD of Rs 400 per degree certificate towards the fee (as per the instruction in the Degree Registration Form). For example, students of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Commerce (M Com), B Tech Construction Management (BTCM), B Sc Nautical Science (BNS), etc. are required to remit fees of Rs 400 each for all the certificates associated within the programme (like Diplomas, PG-Diplomas / Degrees).
 
However, in case of awardees for Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCLE), Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCLE-G) and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DEME) programmes, the registration form along with fee (in the form of DD) ONLY to, the Assistant Registrar (Exam-I), SED, Block-9, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068. In all types of registration forms, the DD should be drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.
