New Delhi: In a short span of time, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is likely to introduce a 24-hour science channel. The new channel, about to be launched by IGNOU, would be dedicated to programmes related to the different aspects of science.
As per sources, the initiative will be a part of the Gyan Darshan group of channels run by the university. Featuring scientific disciplines, such as physical sciences, life sciences, agricultural sciences and computer sciences, the channel promises to cater to viewers of different age groups, from rural, semi-urban and urban regions.
