DU Introduces Certificate Course in Sales & Relationship Management

New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) in collaboration with Centre for Professional and Technical Training and the Hero Mindmine Institute Ltd (HMIL) has introduced a certificate course in sales and relationship management. As per sources, the new course will assure jobs for DU students in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sector (BFSI).
 
Further, sources told that past and present students of Delhi University can apply for the new programme. Akshay Munjal, Chief Operating Officer, HMIL said that this is the first time that such a program is backed by an assurance of 100 percent placement of students on successful completion of the program in the BFSI sector. This partnership with University of Delhi will go a long way in ensuring suitable employment for the youngsters, he added.
 
Dr. Savita Dutta, Director, Campus of Open Learning (DU), said that they are delighted to have Hero Mindmine as their partner in this initiative. She is sure that this programme will benefit students immensely in finding gainful employment after the completion of their course. Furthermore, she said that this is a pioneering endeavor to provide employment-focused education to meritorious students - an objective that most educational institutions in our country have not been focusing on.
 
As per sources, the newly launched programme will improve the incumbents' domain knowledge, selling, customer service & communication skills. Besides, the programme will also help the students in grooming their personality sufficiently.
