New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, has extended the last date for admission to its Master’s degree, Bachelor's degree, Postgraduate (PG) Diplomas, Diplomas, PG Certificates and Certificate programmes, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. As per the new schedule, the last date for admission is December 20, 2010. Earlier, the last date was November 30, 2010.
Candidates desirous to pursue any of the above mentioned programmes from IGNOU can download the prospectus and application form from the university's official website: http://www.ignou.ac.in/. Applicants can also obtain the same in person by paying Rs 100 in cash. One can obtain the same through post by sending a DD/Cash Order drawn in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi to the Registrar, Student Registration Division, Block-3, IGNOU headquarters, IGNOU campus Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068.
Candidates obtaining the prospectus and application form through post must write his/her complete address at the back of the DD/Cash Order. Similarly, candidates residing outside Delhi can obtain the prospectus and application form from the sale counter of any of the Regional Centre by paying Rs 100. Such candidates can obtain the prospectus and application form through post by sending a DD/Cash Order of Rs 150 and the respective Regional Centre address to the Regional Director, IGNOU.
