New Delhi: On November 24, 2010, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that it will be commencing the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in Corporate Governance. As per sources, the programme will commence in January 2011.
Further, sources told that the new programme will create professionals with profound knowledge of management principles, governance processes and other important aspects of corporate governance. The programme will also stresses on the significance of business ethics at the grassroots level, sources added.
A statement said that the programme will offer an opportunity to work in the corporate sector at various levels and fosters better understanding through case studies. Sources informed that the MBA in Corporate Governance programme will offer 30 seats. Admission to the programme will be made on the basis of an entrance test, group discussion and personal interview, sources added.
