Ahmedabad: Indian Institution of Management Ahmadabad (IIM-A) will be honoring two of its faculties and seven staff members, who have been serving the institute for the past 20 years. The felicitation would be one of the activities lined up for the institute day celebration at IIM - A which is to be held on December 11, 2010.
Professor S Manikutty teaching Business Policy and Samar K Dutta, Professor of Economics, teaching at Center for Management in Agriculture in IIM-A have completed their twenty years of service at IIM-A. Professor S Manikutty and Professor Samar K Dutta will be felicitated along with seven other staff members of the institute.
According to an official from IIM -A, every year, they felicitate the faculty members and staff who have completed 20 years of service in the institute. They give them a small memento as a token of recognition.
Furthermore the official has mentioned that the institute day celebration is scheduled to be held on December 11, 2010. He also said that the various programmes lined up for the celebration of institute day, this year, they might extend the celebration for one more day.
