Calcutta University, Department of Geology, Kolkata (West Bengal), has invited applications for Research Eligibility Test 2011, popularly known as RET. RET 2011 is scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below for admissions into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered by the department in the ensuing session 2011. Final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merits in the test followed by an interview, to be held on March 30, 2011.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply by submitting an application on a plain paper in the format given in the university's official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 at the cash counter of the university. Candidates are required to submit a photocopy of the challan of RET exam fee along with the duly filled application form.
