Kanpur: This year, the new academic session for undergraduate (UG) courses at Indian Institute of Technology - Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) will commence from July 25, 2011.
Sources have informed that the first round of counseling and seat allotment has concluded at IIT-Kanpur. Students of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes have to report at IIT-Kanpur on July 18. Besides, authorities at IIT-K have announced the detailed schedule, including the orientation programme, registration and time-table of the classes.
The orientation programme at IIT-Kanpur for UG students would is scheduled to be held from July 19 to July 23. In case of PG students, the orientation programme would be held between July 18 and July 21.
Furthermore, PG students are being offered with two chances for registration, by the institute's authorities. The first date of registration is July 22, whereas the second (late) registration could be done on July 29. Moreover, IIT-Kanpur authorities have informed that the list of second phase of seat allotment would be released soon.
