University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the below mentioned Postgraduate (PG) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Selection is made on the basis of candidates’ academic qualification, followed by counseling, to be conducted by the University on the following date.

Note: The University will publish merit list / selection list (for all subjects) on August 17, 2012 and the admission procedure (other then allied subjects) will be taken place between August 21, 2012 and August 28, 2012. If seats remain vacant, the University will conduct admission process for waiting list candidates on September 9, 2012.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the information brochure and application form from the University Sales Counter (College Street Campus) between 10.30 am and 3.00 pm (on all working days) by paying an application fee of Rs 50 (Rs 25 for SC /ST candidates). The same can be downloaded from the official website of the University: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. Candidates applying through downloaded form have to remit the abovementioned application fee through University’s Challan made available at the concerned department.
The duly filled-in application form or hard copy of the downloaded from complete in all respect along with all requisite documents (as mentioned in the information brochure) should be submitted to the Office of Secretary University College of Arts & Commerce (UCAC), College Street Campus or Alipore Campus, on or before July 31, 2012. One should attach the University’s copy of Challan along with the downloaded form.
