Department of Linguistics, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Linguistics, to be offered in the ensuing academic session 2013. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the written examination, scheduled to be conducted on the date mentioned below, followed by an interview, to be conducted by the University.
Note: Candidates, who have qualified NET / SET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship or other equivalent examinations, need not appear for the written examination. However, they have to appear for the interview session.
