Allahabad: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, has postponed the MBA-IT entrance exam date. The revised dates for entrance exam are May 12 -13, 2012. Earlier the entrance exam was scheduled to be held on April 7-8, 2012. The complete details are mentioned in the Institute’s official website: http://www.iiita.ac.in/.
As per the notification issued by the Institute, along with the entrance test, the last date of submission of application form has also been extended to April 30, 2012. However, earlier the last date for the same was March 6, 2012. The entrance examination will be conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into Master of Business Administration in Information Technology (MBA-IT), to be offered by the Institute.
Interested candidates can download the application form from the abovementioned official website. One can also obtain the same in person from the centres of IIIT - Allahabad (list of counters available at: http://www.iiita.ac.in/pub/MBA_MS_2012_FORM.pdf). The cost of application form is Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST / OBC candidates).
Candidates can pay the cost either in cash or in the form of DD of MICR type from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of IIIT-Allahabad payable at Allahabad. The last date of submission of application form along with all the requisite documents is April 30, 2012.
